Flute professor Dr. Adah T. Jones was Principal Flute for the Victoria Bach Festival June 7-12, also performed a flute and harp recital.
She served on the National Flute Association Golden Anniversary Awards Committee and performed in the premier of “Images of Cherubim” by James Lee III (commissioned by the Awards Committee in celebration of the winners of the awards competition) at the NFA’s convention in Chicago. She also served on the Frances Blaisdell Scholarship Committee, a panel of three judges to choose recipients of an annual award to deserving young flutists.
