Thomas Clark, retired Texas State music professor and former School of Music Director, has published an online e-book, Mapping the Music Universe. With a composer’s perspective, the three-part work explores and maps multifaceted musical dimensions of time, pitch, form, and creativity.
Dr. Clark also recently launched his own YouTube channel, TClark Art Music, providing listening playlists for his “sound sculptures,” impressionistic environments of digitally synthesized sound. Some of those are among the 16 new compositions he has written since retiring from Texas State in 2020. (He began composing in 1965.)
