Trombone Professor Charles R. Hurt presented a recital at Stephen F. Austin State University as part of the Cole Performing Arts Series. Hosted by Dr. Deb Scott, trombone professor at SFASU, Professor Hurt also presented two master classes and worked individually with students in the studio.
The Texas State University Trombone Choir recently performed at the Big 12 Trombone Conference held at Texas Tech University January 16-18. The Trombone Choir was the special featured ensemble of the convention and the only collegiate group to receive a standing ovation.
