Much like their professor, Dr. Todd Oxford, the TXST Saxophone Studio has had a busy semester full of success! These include:
▪ Lauren Gordon accepted for study this summer at the Université Européenne de Saxophone in Gap, France
▪ Former student, Andres Avila, featured in the School of Music Alumni Spotlight.
▪ Kolten Bippert hired to teach studio saxophone at Bastrop High School.
▪ Blue Sine Quartet (Edgar Blandon, Abel Jaimes, Josh Schurtz, Ryan Harris) performed for over 400 students at Victoria Performing Arts Center. Victoria, Texas.
▪ Erik Gamez hired to teach studio saxophone at Akins High School in Austin.
▪ Edgar Blandon hired as marching band tech at Akins High School in Austin.
▪ Rachel Brown hired as marching band tech at Round Rock High School.
