In February we reported that Texas State University School of Music student Cutter W. González had been admitted to the International Conducting Workshop & Festival (ICWF) in Lviv, Ukraine for this August. We are happy to announce that he was selected to receive a special additional Undergraduate Research Fellowship (URF) for this venture!

Earlier this semester Cutter was awarded an URF from the Honors College and a travel award from the School of Music. This additional URF award was funded by the Tri-M Foundation, a non-profit that focuses on “traditional theatre, music, dance, and motion pictures, as well as new and innovative works in new and experimental forms of media,” and will be awarded through the Honors College.

Congratulations Cutter! We look forward to all you accomplish this summer!
