Music Studies major and saxophonist Christopher Martinez recently received the Texas Music Educators Association Outstanding Music Educator Award. This designation is awarded to students across the entire state of Texas who demonstrate exemplary leadership, maintain a very high GPA, and who have contributed to the profession of music education as a university student.
