Alum Celeste Alexandria Morales–TXST Class of 2015, Music Education-Choral–has been accepted into the prestigious Merola Opera Program in San Francisco for next year.
Celeste was a student of Oliver Worthington and a member of the Texas State Opera Theatre Program, Texas State Chorale, and VocaLibre. She is the featured soloist on the VocaLibre recording of “Modimo,” a solo she reprised with Chorale during their 2018 TMEA performance.
Celeste continued her studies at the Manhattan School of Music, been a Resident Artist with the San Antonio Opera, and has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2015 Winner of the Texas State Aria & Concerto competition.
