Perc solo contest draws 50 participants

The Texas State University Percussion Solo Contest on May 4 drew a record number of students in attendance. The percussion faculty, along with guest adjudicator/clinician Mark Ford (head of percussion at the University of North Texas), worked with all of these students throughout the day. This sixth year of the competition provided an opportunity to connect with students as they visit our campus. Music major Elise Rosen, who now helps run the competition, is a past competitor that has become a Bobcat!
