The Hill Country Jazz Bones directed by Martin McCain were awarded Honorable Mention in the International Kai Winding Jazz Trombone Ensemble Competition, placing next to Michigan State and Eastman School of Music.
Students are: Patrick Harwell, Hunter Moffitt, Daniel Ripplinger, Kyle Chappell, Matt Acosta, Dayne Reliford, Abel Alaniz, and Israel Yanez.
