Richard Hall composed and performed the music for the dance piece “Wild-er-ness” at the Texas State University Spring Dance Show “Resilient.” The work is a blend of site-specific and site-adaptive material intimately woven into a multidisciplinary performance in the intersection of dance, video, music and fashion design. It was produced by WECreate Productions with film direction by Texas State University Dance Associate Professor Ana Baer and University of Roehampton Senior Lecturer Heike Salzer. Dancers were Salzer and Texas State University Director of Dance Michelle Nance. The piece was premiered in September 2017 at the San Souci Festival of Dance at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
