Dr. Martin McCain recently completed two residencies at the University of Georgia and University of Alabama. September 4-6, Dr. McCain along with the Minor 4th Trombone Quartet, performed a recital and masterclass at UGA in addition to teaching private lessons. McCain also appeared at the University of Alabama September 13-16, where he gave a masterclass, performed a recital, coached the UA Trombone Choir and taught 13 lessons to members of the UA trombone studio. He also performed as a soloist on the Feed Your Soul concert series on September 24. Additionally, his recent solo album “Shades” was featured twice on Austin’s 89.5 KMFA and Hong Kong’s RTHK 4 radio stations in September.
