The selection panel for the 2019 American Choral Director’s Association Outstanding Student Chapter Award just wrote to Dr. Jonathan Babcock, founding faculty adviser for the Texas State University Student ACDA Chapter, “Your chapter’s achievements are laudable, and you are clearly making a significant impact in the world of choral music. We would like to acknowledge and further encourage the commendable work of the Texas State University chapter with an ‘honorable mention’ at the conference.”
Presentation of the Student Chapter Award will occur February 27th during the upcoming National Conference in Kansas City.
