Texas State 14th in nation

TC writes: Washington Monthly ranks Texas State University at number 14 on its list of 2014 Best Bang for the Buck rankings for Master’s Universities. The publication indicates the rankings are “based on the economic value students receive per dollar”. It is the only Texas institution listed in the top 100.

Bobcat Marching Band begins training camp

TC writes: Yesterday I enjoyed watching the launch of training camp for a new season for the Bobcat Marching Band. Under the direction of Dr. Kyle Glaser, the band promises to be as large (over 300 members) and as exciting as it has ever been. BMB will perform for one away game (Tulsa), for halftime at a Dallas Cowboys game, and of course for all Bobcat home games. Let’s join them in cheering on Texas State. Go Bobcats!
